Meta Muse for travel, compared honestly
Muse can book a flight or browse hotel sites for you. Here's what happens to that booking afterwards, and how the alternatives compare.
Meta Muse is a general AI agent that can book a flight or browse hotel sites for you — the confirmation then arrives by email from the airline or Duffel, the same as if you'd booked it yourself. Muse books it; here's what happens to that booking afterwards, and how Reveldays turns it — or any booking — into a costed, mapped trip. Checked September 2026.

What Muse does well
- It can actually book a flight — searching live fares across 500+ airlines through Duffel, comparing prices and completing the purchase.
- For hotels it browses real booking sites the way a person would, comparing options against the budget you gave it.
- It keeps working after you close the app, and can keep tracking a fare after booking to flag a price drop.
Where people get stuck
- It doesn't hold a trip once it's booked — confirmations land in your email, not on a dedicated trip page. (Meta's own design documentation lists itineraries only as a generated file, not a persistent trip record)
- A login captcha stopped it mid-booking in one reported test — 30 minutes spent, and nothing booked. (Slate's review of a two-person flight search)
- Reviewers say it keeps asking for more of your data — accounts, inboxes, documents — before it gets to the task. (Wired's review of Muse's onboarding)

Questions
- Does Reveldays book flights or hotels like Meta Muse?
- No. Reveldays never books or takes a payment. When a trip has a real gap it may point you to a provider, and you book with them. It's built to take whatever you, or an agent like Muse, already booked and turn it into one costed, mapped trip.
- Is Meta Muse available outside the US?
- Not yet. At launch it's US-only, for adults 18 and over.
- How much does Meta Muse cost?
- Free with a usage limit that refreshes periodically. Power is $20/month and Max is $100/month for higher limits — checked September 2026.
- What happens to a trip Muse books?
- The confirmation arrives by email from the airline or Duffel. Muse doesn't keep a dedicated trip page for it — forwarding that email to Reveldays is how it becomes one.
- Can I turn off Muse's memory?
- Not entirely. You can ask it to forget specific things, but there's no single switch to disable memory — checked September 2026.
