A gentle stroll along the River Ness offers a pleasant introduction to Inverness and a chance to stretch your legs before dinner. It's a great way to soak in the city's atmosphere.
The Bealach na Bà is one of Scotland's most dramatic roads, offering breathtaking views and a thrilling drive. It's a single-track road with passing places and steep gradients, so drive carefully. Check weather conditions before you go, as it can close in winter.
The Torridon offers a luxurious stay amidst stunning mountain scenery, a perfect reward after the drive. Book your accommodation far in advance, as it's a popular and highly-rated destination.
Corrieshalloch Gorge is a spectacular chasm with a Victorian suspension bridge offering incredible views of the powerful waterfall below. The walk to the bridge is relatively short but can be steep in places.

Smoo Cave is a unique sea cave with a waterfall inside, accessible via a short walk from the car park. Entry to the main chamber is free, but guided tours into the inner chambers may have a small fee. Check accessibility for the inner cave, as it can be restricted by water levels.
