Broadway's high street is quintessential Cotswolds, lined with independent shops and art galleries housed in honey-coloured limestone buildings. It's perfect for a leisurely browse and soaking in the village atmosphere.
The walk to Broadway Tower offers panoramic views across the Cotswolds and beyond. The tower itself is a unique folly with a rich history, and you can climb to the top for even better vistas. Check opening times before you go.
Chipping Campden boasts one of the finest high streets in the Cotswolds, with its historic Market Hall as a focal point. Explore the wool church and charming side streets. Many shops close by 5pm.
Arlington Row in Bibury is one of the most photographed and iconic scenes in the Cotswolds, a row of ancient weavers' cottages. Arrive early to avoid crowds. There's a small car park nearby.
Bourton-on-the-Water is famous for its charming low bridges over the River Windrush, earning it the nickname 'Venice of the Cotswolds'. It's very popular, so expect crowds, especially on weekends. There are several attractions like the Model Village (check hours).
Stow-on-the-Wold's market square is steeped in history, once a bustling hub for the wool trade. Today, it's known for its antique shops and the ancient St. Edward's Church with its famous tree-framed door. Shops typically open around 10 am.
Daylesford Organic Farm offers a fantastic farm shop, café, and restaurant experience, showcasing high-quality organic produce. It's a great spot for a delicious lunch and to pick up some gourmet souvenirs. Booking for the restaurant is recommended, especially for lunch.
